Abendklänge – Choral Sounds at Kunsthistorisches Museum
Premiere in the Cupola Hall of the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna! Cantus Novus Wien performs a twilight soirée at the KHM—the very first choral concert to be held in this extraordinary venue. The programme features primarily contemporary works by composers such as Morten Lauridsen, Lucy Walker, Paul Mealor, and Jacob Collier, placed in musical dialogue with pieces from the Romantic and Renaissance periods.
This special evening will be accompanied by excellent catering—look forward to a selection of drinks and canapés. Due to space constraints, only about 100 tickets will be available, making it a truly “exclusive evening” in every sense of the word.
Tickets
P.S.: On May 29th, there will be a free opportunity to hear part of the programme in an equally sublime atmosphere: Cantus Novus Wien will perform at midnight in St. Stephen’s Cathedral (Stephansdom) as part of the “Long Night of the Churches.” We look forward to seeing you there as well!
